We believe that the case is also an important part of the product. That's why we want to make it from materials that we can confidently recommend to everyone.

About an hour's drive from our factory, in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture, we use "full vegetable tanned leather" from Sanyo Co., Ltd., a tanner with over 100 years of history and one of Japan's top-class producers of high-quality leather.

Sanyo's full vegetable tanned leather is slowly tanned by soaking it in a "pit vat" filled with tanning solution for about one month.

As a result, the leather is firm and strong without damaging the fiber layers. This characteristic is ideal for protecting sharp edges and delicate tips.

The case is then crafted by bag makers from Toyooka, also in Hyogo, a renowned bag-producing region.

We offer a high-quality leather sheath as standard, born from the triple collaboration of "Himeji leather" x "Toyooka bags" x "Miki cutlery."

• Unless they are severely noticeable, a certain degree of individuality is shipped as is. In principle, we cannot accept returns due to the individuality of the leather, such as "I'm not satisfied with the location of the scratches/moles," or "There were rose scars/blood streaks."
